PLYMOUTH – Nashua South alum Terrell Lewis of New Boston, a Plymouth State University senior, has earned Little East Conference (LEC) Men’s Track & Field Co-Track Athlete of the Week honors.

Lewis brought home two victories and a fifth-place finish to help Plymouth State University place third at the CCC Spring Invitational at Gordon College on Saturday

Lewis started the day with an explosive run in the 110m Hurdles, where he crossed the line in an impressive 14.57 seconds to win the event. He then moved to make his mark in field events, where he claimed victory in the high jump after clearing 1.85 meters. He capped off his day with a fifth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.54 seconds.

Lewis’ 110m Hurdles time currently ranks eighth in the nation as he looks to contend for a spot at the NCAA Division III National Championships. His mark leads both the East Region and the LEC.

The Panthers move on to compete at the Penmen Relays at Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday (Apr. 16) at 11:00 a.m.
