History! Rivier women skaters get first program win
NASHUA — The Rivier women’s hockey team got their first victory in program history, 2-1 Saturday night over Curry College at Conway Arena.
The Colonels got on the board first just 35 seconds into the game. Grayson Goolgasian was responsible for the only Curry score.
The Raiders wouldn’t be down for long. They tied it up at one 3:43 into the first period on a short-handed goal by Brianna Parent (St. Albans, VT). She would score the game winning goal just nine minutes later in the first period on a powerplay.
Rachel Hinkley (Swedesboro, N.J.) had a great night in net for the Raiders saving 36 shots on net.
The Raiders have some time to enjoy this; they wont’be be bac at it until they visit Salem State on Jan. 25.

PLATTSBURGH 5, RIVIER 4 (OT)
The third period would see visiting Rivier take its first lead of the game 4-3 when Ryan Nolte.
cored their last goal 8:54 into the third. Unfortunately, Plattsburgh would tie it up with under 20 seconds left in regulations to send it into overtime.
The overtime period was short lived as the Cardinals would net the game winner just 1:38 in on a goal by Luk Jirousek.
Riv goalie Luke Newell was big with 51 saves.
