NASHUA — In a tweet and statement on its athletics website, Rivier University has clarified its spectator policy that will be re-evaluated at the end of January.

The school is not allowing spectators for men’s and women’s basketball games at the Muldoon Fitness Center, which is located on campus. However, spectators will be allowed at Rivier men’s and women’s hockey games at Nashua’s Conway Arena. The arena is an off-campus privately run facility.

“Conway Arena will still be allowing spectators into the facility,” the university’s statement said. “However, they require all to be masked regardless of vaccination history.”

Ironically, the Raider men skaters have just one scheduled home game remaining on Friday, Jan. 21 vs. Albertus Magnus at Conway. The women’s hockey team is home on Saturday vs. Curry College at 7 p.m. and also on Feb. 8 vs. Salem State and Feb. 19 vs. Worcester State.
