BALTIMORE, Md. – Senior Chris Pinkham of Concord scored the game winner as the No. 5 nationally-ranked University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team defeated Maryland-Baltimore County, 1-0, Saturday night at Retriever Soccer Park in America East action.

UNH remains undefeated and improves to 13-0-2 (5-0-1 AE), while the Retrievers fall to 7-7-2 (2-4-1 AE).

The first half went scoreless as UNH took six shots on goal and UMBC had one.

Pinkham scored the game winner in the 51st minute (50:24) when he blasted a shot from 18 yards out to the lower right side of the net. Graduate student Paul Mayer (Strasbourg, France) posted an assist on the goal.
