Rivier roundup: Men’s soccer, women’s volleyball win
NASHUA — The Rivier men’s soccer team picked up a non-conference win this evening against Northern Vermont University of Lyndon by a score of 6-0 on Joanne Merrill Field.
Also, the Raiders women’s volleyball team earned its fifth win of the season as well.
The men’s soccer squad improved to 2-5 with the non-conference triumph. The Raiders put together two solid halves against the visiting squad with three goals in each.
The first two goals of the contest were netted by Jason Harlow (Naples, Me.), who would go on to complete the hat trick in the second half. The final goal of the half was by Hayden Bilodeau (Windham, Me.).
The second half Harlow scored first to get his third goal of the game, with Nashua’s Ryan Hadouche and Pedro Campos (Downey, Cal.) finishing the scoring off for Rivier.
The Raiders are at Anna Maria on Saturday.

The Raiders dropped the opening set 19-25but won the next three 25-12, 25-20, 25-18 for a non conference win that improves them to 5-4 overall
The Raiders started off the match struggling to find a groove in set number one. The Lions capitalized on this taking the set easily 25-19. This, however, would be the only set Easter Naz would win on the night.
Rivier was able to find their stride in set two and never stopped. Outside hitter Lily Blodget (Dunstable, MA) found her swing, finishing with a match high 14 kills. Aly Werth (Bedford, MA) finished just behind her with 12 kills. Avery Pollard (Ballston Lake, NY) fed her hitters, tallying 35 assists with an additional six kills of her own.
Defensively, the Raiders were held together by Libero Sofia Pawlusik (Burnt Hills, NY) and junior defensive specialist Olivia Garand (Litchfield, NH). Pawlusic had a solid 13 digs, while Garand finished with 12 digs.
