12U Prospects Royal 6

Jr. Lancers 2

Jr. Lancers 4

In the second game of a doubleheader, while trailing 3-1 in top of the fifth inning, Austin Steinruck laid down a key bunt to get on base. Michael Fiengo then hit moving runners into scoring position for Holmes to single them both in.

Joe Mayo provided the RBI to take the lead and there was no turning back. The Prospects made a number of key plays defensively to stop momentum and Ryan Martin carried the pitching load on a hot day.

11U Prospects 6

Team New England 4

Owen Forcier pitched a gem allowing only one hit over six innings for the Prospects first win against a very good 5-1 Team New England.

Forcier also helped himself with three hits. Nolan Sullivan and Harry Joshi added two hits a piece. Andrew Thibeault knocked in Jack Fiengo for the lead run and it would stand. Cam Flanders hit in an insurance run late.

Team New England 6

11U Prospects 5

The Prospects got down early and kept battling back in the blistering heat to tie the game twice but in the end Team New England held on. Harrison Joshi and Nolan Sullivan pitched great.

Owen Varley had a key two-run single and Brooke Berger and Jack Ninteau added to the offense with singles. Berger also made a great play at the plate as the catcher to get the Prospects out of the inning.
