N. Woodstock, NH – An already-big summer of racing at White Mountain Motorsports Park has gotten even bigger. White Mountain Motorsports Park officials announced today that the Midsummer Classic has been expanded to a weekend doubleheader on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9 with the Pro All Star Series (PASS) joining the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) in the scenic White Mountains.

Saturday night’s schedule will remain as originally announced with the ACT Late Model Tour as the headliner. The 250-lap, $10,000-to-win Midsummer Classic is back for a third straight season, pitting the best touring and local stars against each other in the longest, richest ACT Late Model race of the summer. White Mountain’s Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini’s, and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Trucks are also on the Saturday program with a 6:00pm post time.

Sunday, August 9 at 1:30pm, the PASS Super Late Models make their fourth visit of the year to White Mountain for a 150-lap main event. The PASS Modifieds join them for their third trip of the season to the North Country high banks. Rounding out the card is the Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors, who compete regularly at Barre, VT’s Thunder Road and are going on the road for the first time in an added-distance, added-purse event.

The weekend is the fourth doubleheader of the season at White Mountain as the track makes up for events lost earlier in the year due to the worldwide COVID-19 outbreak. Midsummer Classic Weekend comes just one week following the second event of the season for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour to northern New Hampshire. The combination of big series, big names, and big money has made White Mountain Motorsports Park the place to be for racing fans in 2020.

“The Midsummer Classic has quickly become a cornerstone event for White Mountain, and we’re excited to make it even bigger,” White Mountain managing partner Cris Michaud said. “Earlier this year, there was obviously a lot of uncertainly about how the season would play out. But circumstances have fallen into place like we never could have imagined. With seven divisions, two major touring series, and the beautiful White Mountains in the background, it will be another great weekend for fans of auto racing.”

Admission for the Saturday event is $25 for adults and $5 for kids ages 12 and under. Sunday tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for kids ages 12 and under. Advance tickets for both days will be available to purchase later this week at www.happsnow.com/events/white-mountain-motorsports-park. Attendance is limited to 50% of capacity per state health and safety guidelines.

On-site camping is also available for self-contained units. Site fees are $20 per night. Campers can reserve spots when ordering their tickets or by calling (802) 244-6963 ext. 1.

For those who can’t make it to North Woodstock, Northeast Sports Network will have a live pay-per-view broadcast of both events. White Mountain Motorsports Park continues its summer of big events this Saturday, July 18 at 6:00pm with the Mid-Season Championships. Added-distance features and double points will be on the line for the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini’s, and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Trucks. A 7-Eleven Dwarf Car Open with added prize money has also been added to the program.

Admission this Saturday is $12 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and $25 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). Northeast Motorsports Network will offer a $15 live pay-per-view broadcast of the event for those who can’t make it to the track.

The ACT Late Model Tour heads to Barre’, VT’s Thunder Road on Sunday, July 26 for the 22nd Community Bank N.A. 150. Top touring stars take on the best of the weekly racers in a 150-lap showdown that also features the track’s Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, Allen Lumber Street Stocks, and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors.

Limited grandstand attendance is permitted with admission prices of $25 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-12. A $25 pay-per-view broadcast will be available on the Northeast Motorsports Network at www.NSNsports.net/sponsors/racing.
