Dionnes 15, IMEC 2

It was Jeff Fuller Day (again) as he went 4 for 4 and scored four runs. Hitting stars also Jim Edwards with four hits. Honorable mention are Don Clark with three hits, and Dick Gillespie with three runs.

Pine Street 13, Joks 8

Pine Street was on a three-game winning streak after this one. Hitting stars, and there were a bunch in this game, were Paul Berard, Gary Royal, Mike Ford, Steve Archer, Bill Bowser, Gerry Vye and Bob Peter with three hits apiece.

M&N 5, Global 4

Pitching and defense dominated as M&N only had 13 hits and Global just 12. Kip Ferguson and Cam Boyd had three hits apiece.

Art’s 14, Newburgh 13

In the seventh inning, Art’s rallied for five runs to take the lead 10-9. Joe Richards, John Remillard (solo homer) and Jerry Ferullo each had four hits. Bob Napolitano was 3 for 3 and scored three runs.

Newburgh 10,

Visionworks 4

Newburgh jumped out to a 7-0 lead and held on for the entire game. John Chase (3 for 4), Jim Edwards (4 for 4), Bob Napolitano (2 for 4) and Don Clark (2 for 3) led the way.

Art’s 10, Joks 1

This one was all Art’s from the third inning on. Bob Beaver had four hits and Ron Monteiro had three.

Calvary 9, Global 3

Calvary broke away from Global in the late innings and did not look back. Global’s Jim Edwards was 2 for 3, had a triple and scored two runs. Don Kasper was 3 for 3. Bob Lavoie held Global to 10 hits.

M&N 9, Pine Street 8

Pine Street was looking for iys fourth win in a row, but M&N pulled it out in the seventh. Peter Olson, Cam Boyd, Jeff Porter, Jeff Fuller, Paul Berard, Gary Royal and Steve

Brzozowski had three hits each.

M&N 21, Calvary 14

This was a seesaw battle that saw five lead changes. Hitting stars were Dan Birck (four runs), Bob Royce and George Mosnicka with four hits.

Joks 15, IMEC 10

Joks scored early and never looked back. Ron Lewis had four hits and Bob Peter, Harry Doutt, Les Johnson and Steve Coco each had three hits.

Global 9, Dr. Dionne 8

Trailing by one in the bottom of the seventh, Gerry Vye walloped a homer first walk-off homer this year. Vye also had four hits and scored three runs. Dick Gillespie, Darryl McDuffee, Lee Hess and Kip Ferguson each had three hits.

Pine Street 8,

Visionworks 3

Pine Street took an early lead and coasted to victory. Larry Kittle had three hits.
