The Nashua Silver Knights improved to 3-5 on the FCBL season on Saturday night with a 3-2 win over North Shore before a crowd of 1,752 at Lynn’s Fraser Field.

The Silver Knights scored all three of their runs in the fifth. Two came on wild pitches with the bases loaded, and the third came on a Tom Blandini sac fly, scoring Dylan Jones.

ThomasJoyce went 3 for 4 and scored a run while Ryan Berardino had two of Nashua’s seven hits. The Navs had seven as well.

Luke Dawson (1-0) picked up the win with six innings of scoreless three-hit ball. Derek Duffy got the save with a scoreless ninth; the Navs (1-8) scored two in the seventh off the Knights’ pen.

The two teams go at it again on Sunday at Holman Stadium at 5:05 p.m.
