“At Manchester, Nashua rallied late to come up with three runs in the eighth inning and fell one run short of overcoming the district leaders. Dan Peacock switched from the infield to the mound and performed brilliantly in allowing only seven Sweeney hits, but costly errors proved to be Nashua’s downfall.

“Dion scored a spectacular half-lap victory in the inaugural running of the 200-lap, $12,000 National Championship race in 1976 over a field of cars that included five of the nation’s top 10 drivers.”
JULY 20, 1982 – “Bishop Guertin’s standout center Skip Barry pumped in 23 points last night to pace the New Hampshire AAU Basketball Club to a stunning 58-51 win over Colorado in the National Under-17 AAU Basketball Tournament in Monroe, La.
