May 4, 1960 – Winners of the weekend golf competitions at the Nashua Country Club included:

The First Four, Last Four and Selected Hole tournament, Mike Tamulevich and Ben Bernard tied for the gross prize, each shooting 45s. Barry Bruce was runner-up with a 46.

Net winners were Paul Moriarty, 46-42; Ted Arsenault, 36-42; Phil Sandler, 50-42; Gene Crosby, 52-44; amd Dr. Huntley Cramer, 50-44.

May 4, 1994 – “Scott Burrows knew he was pitching a one-game season for the Daniel Webster College baseball team.

“One game to save some pride after six weels of a few ups and lots of downs. His reaction? He threw the heck out of the baseball, tossing a two-hitter in a 5-2 win to help the Eagles earn a split wit Franklin Pierce College of Rindge and end a 6-10 season Tuesday at Holman Stadium. The Eagles dropped the first game 9-2.”

Also …

“With Jeff LeClerc winning four events – as he has all season – the Alvirne High School boys track team was supposed to challenge Nashua on Tuesday.

“But the defending Class L champs offset LeClerc with their own four-event wining Jeff – Jeff Bois – and the Panthers used their superiority in other events to run up a 114-54 victory over the Broncos. Trinity of Manchester was a distant third with 13 points.”

May 4, 2019 – “Autumn Howe (six goals, one assist) and Amber Brewster (four goals, assist) paced the visiting Tomahawks offense as they are now 4-4. Ellie Boucher had three goals and two assists while Paige River added a pair of scores. Caitlyn Moran, Melanie Hutchinson, Lorin Wandell and Megan Dinsmore each had a goal.”
