NASHUA – Six Nashua Youth Soccer League (NYSL) players captured wins in the recently-held Nashua Lodge of Elks 21st Annual Soccer Shoot

The Girls U8 Division was won by Aria Seward with 25 points, while Aubrey Hughes was the Runner-up with eight points.

Girls U10 – The winner was Aria Patil scoring 25 points. Ginny Wolber and Kendall McInerney shared Runner-up scoring 16 points

Girls U12 – Emman Versprille with 17 points was the champion.

Boys U8 – The winner was Henry Graham, shooting 22 points. Runner-up Caleb McInerney scored 17 points.

Boys U10 – Brayden Chemaly (37 points) captured the title. Second place went to Vincent Huang, footing 20 points.

Boys U12 – Dimitrios Tselios,scoring 20 points, finished on top. All Soccer Shoot winners will now advance to the Elks State Soccer Shoot Finals on Oct. 2 in Lebanon.

YOUTH FOOTBALL

NASHUA PAL 11U WINS

Nashua 11U Pal FORCE delivered another shutout win, 18-0 against the Derry Demons.

Nashua reached the end zone three times, one via a fumble recovery for a touchdown by Camren Silva. Fullbacks Mason Bracetty and Jace Gallego also reached the end zone. Gallego scored on a long run where he found a hole and won the foot race.

Bracetty also scored on a long run shedding multiple tacklers.

Additional offensive firepower was provided by running back Johnny Fitzgerald and tight end Brayden Hembree.

Defensively, Nashua had significant contributions from Wesley Follansbee, Yamil Hernandez, Anthony Girginis, and Henry Yeo.
