Three PAL teams in playoffs

The Nashua PAL Force football teams just completed their respective regular seasons and are headed to the playoffs – 10U, 12U, and 13U.

The 10U team recently beat Hudson-Litchfield Bears 35-0, the 12U beat city rival the Elks Crusaders 32-0, and 13U fell to Manchester South.

NPF 10U

The Nashua defense dominated the beginning of the game at Gill Stadium with a sack and fumble recovery by Camren Silva. Walter Cotito led off with a touchdown run in the first possession of the game.

Jace Gallego had two touchdowns in a row with two extra points from Leo Desfosses. Quarterback Luke Graven made a successful touchdown run in the second quarter followed by his own extra point. Xavier Maldonado added two easy touchdown runs.

Meanwhile, the Nashua offensive line including Jake Hamernick, Samson Lamere, Zach Henderson, and Isaac Bernard played well while Henry Yeo also contributed.

Turnovers were plentiful from the defense as well. Gallego had a kickoff recovery and an interception.

Leo Desfosses had a fumble recovery and Johnny Fitzgerald IV also snatched a fumble recovery. Brayden Hembree and Wesley Follensbee also played well

defensively.

NPF 12U

Nashua closed out the regular season by blanking the Elks Crusaders at Stellos Stadium.

Jordan Toribio again dominated on both sides of the ball and had two long TD runs of 65 and 58 yards.

Tayten Metallic added two touchdowns for PAL while Josiah Spleen accounted for an entire PAL fourth quarter drive, running off shotgun snaps from Jayden MacInnis.

Dharyus Sisay added two point conversions and had several pass breakups and tackles on defense.

Adamze Mansaray played well defensively while assisting defensive end Ashton Carrion, playing cornerback and leading the PAL offensive attack in the second half.

The Nashua PAL Force offensive and defensive lines, led by Nick Acevedo, Sebastian Simoneau, Kelvin Sanchez, and Shawn Burrus dominated up front.

Another strong contributor was Kayden Geddes, who played well defensively and on special teams.

Vincent Vincenzo and Diones Delacruz also contributed, as did Logan Wheeler and Carrion. Levi Mitchell filled several key roles, playing linebacker, tight end, and on special teams. Paul O’Brien stood strong at guard spot and on special teams.

NPF 13U

Nashua had a tough game vs. Manchester South as Manchester’s defense was able to shut down runs made by Kobe Perry and Jake Homsy.

However Jedwin Lluveres was able to score a TD.

Tackles for Nashua’s defense came from Jack Krulikowski, Ian Leonardi, Noah Smith, Connor Johnston, Shiekh Ahmeed, Dominick Coffie, and Ryan Butler.
