Amherst Soccer Club/Hampshire United Soccer Club’s 28th annual Memorial Day Soccer Tournament officials would like to express its gratitude to the towns of Amherst and Milford, the Amherst and Milford Recreation Departments, the Amherst and Milford School Districts, MCCA, Dwayne Andreason-DDA Trucking, the residents of Amherst and Milford, plus all of the wonderful volunteers for their support and work during our annual soccer tournament. This tournament would not be possible without the people and organizations named above, and so many others, that work tirelessly behind the scenes. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, but that did not deter the enthusiasm of the players, parents and volunteers over the three-day event, which had 225 teams coming from all over New England. Thanks for helping us showcase what a great community we have. Congratulations to our Hampshire United SC GU13/14 team for taking first place in their division, the BU12 White Team and BU11 Blue Team for coming in second place in their division. Honorable mention went to the BU13/14 White Team, BU15/16 Blue Team and The BU11 Red Team for making it to the playoffs. Hampshire United SC is a unified soccer program for players from all over New Hampshire, including Amherst, Milford, Wilton, Merrimack, Mont Vernon, Peterborough, Nashua and more.
