Pennichuck Middle boys soccer team completes successful year

By Staff | Nov 7, 2020

The Pennichuck Middle School boys soccer team has come a long way and raised the bar in the past two years.

They have had 21 straight wins in that time – in 2019, Tri-County undefeated champions, and 2020 undefeated in the regular season with a close runner-up finish.

In a year where soccer almost didn’t happen, with games being canceled and masks being worn, the pandemic did not stop this team.

There are so many people behind the success of this team, from Gabe the principal, the school staff, the amazing and supportive parents and, of course, the coaches, who led these boys to be the true champs they are. Not only did they coach them in soccer, but they taught them the important life lessons of building character, about the role of leadership, about teamwork and playing from the heart. The lessons these boys will take away will help propel them forward to their high school years and beyond.

A huge thank-you to coach Robert Ollivierra, coach Joel Deleon and Josh Husson for pouring their heart and soul into these boys.

Pennichuck truly is a family.

Especially during these difficult COVID times, everyone has come together and is invested in the well-being and success of not only these boys, but of all the kids. We are truly blessed to be a part of the Pennichuck Family.

Together, we will continue to achieve and succeed!
