The Nashua youth baseball season concluded this past week with the Tigers defeating the Angels 20-8 to win the Nashua Babe Ruth League championship.
The Tigers capped off a great fall with a big time team win at North Common Field.
Dean Adams led the offense going 3 for 3 with two doubles and a walk-off mercy rule home run to finish with seven RBIs. Playoff MVP Lucas Dake finished 2 for 2 with two RBIs while Nolan Mederos scored four runs with two RBIs, and Ryan Haskell had a single and three runs scored.
Also, Jayce Martinez had a single and two runs scored, Kory Caissie an RBI and run scored, Drew Goulet singled and scored, and Nate Smith added a single and scored two.
Others chipping in included Ryan Garon, Ryder Clancy, Drew Bushey, Nate Vicente, Keith O’Donnell, and Aidan Stevens.
Adams picked up the win on the mound going 4 2/3 frames with 10 strikeouts. Nate Smith closed it out going an inning and a third with three strikeouts.
