Here are recent results from the Nashua Cal Ripken baseball league:

AAA

ROCKIES 6

PIRATES 6

For the Pirates, Joey Lantz crushed a triple to the fence and had two RBIs while Hunter Sullivan hit a hard single to center. Aaron Cullinane pitched a solid inning with two strikeouts

The Rockies saw Chris Labrecque hit the ball hard all night and Leo Desfosses and Ricky Nunez provided outstanding defense.

TIGERS 9,

DIAMONDBACKS 9

The D-Backs starting pitchers came out strong, as Mason Townsend, Gates and Luke Graven combined for 12 strikeouts and only four runs earned through five innings.

Behind strong pitching from Aivan Garcia, David Butler, Cole Brandt and Krish Suresh, the Tigers scored five in the sixth led by Drew Homsy.

PIRATES 7,

NATIONALS 6

Joey Lantz had a single double and drove in the go ahead runs for the Pirates, while Will Stanley tripled and drove in two.

Phil Louis threw three strong innings with four strikeouts for the Nats.

ROCKIES 13,

ATHLETICS 5

Will Osborn and Mike Hammon homered for the Rockies while Connor Menento and and Chris Labrecque chipped in with three hits a piece.

For the Athletics, Ben Sterner pitched an outstanding game and was followed up with solid performances in relief by Tyler Marcelli and Ethan DiMeo.

MAJORS

RED SOX 10,

PHILLIES 0

Michael Witkowski pitched a complete game two-hitter with eight strikeouts to lead the Red Sox. Josh Alvarez and Jacoby Caissie had a double and two RBIs, while Logan Coleman had a two-run single. Ian Blake, Sam Levine and Taylor Joyal scored two runs apiece.

Ryan Duvarney had a hit for the Phillies.

ATHLETICS 2,

PHILLIES 1

Owen Forcier pitched a complete game while striking out nine for the A’s, who also received great defense from Benny Byrne and were paced offensively by Cole Patno and Joe Moniz.

The Phillies got solid pitching from Jack Razzaboni and Charlie Patterson. Patrick LeMay and Ryan DuVarney had hits for the Phillies.

RED SOX 4,

WHITE SOX 1

Levine, Alvarez and Sam Woodward combined for a three-hitter, with Levine added three hits and two runs scored in the win. Taylor Joyal and Woodward had 2 hits and an RBI each. Levine pitched out of a bases loaded jam in first with help of a line drive double play by Woodward at first base.

RED SOX 4,

GIANTS 2

Jacoby Caissie threw 5.2 dominant innings, giving up two hits and two unearned runs with 10 strikeouts, while adding two runs scored to lead the Red Sox. Alvarez also had two hits and two runs scored. Joyal got the final out, stranding the tying run at second to earn the save.

GIANTS 11,

PHILLIES 4

Kyle Emmons pitched five-plus strong innings to keep the Phillies bats at bay. Jack Ninteau (three hits, three runs) led the Giants offense.

Brooke Berger pitched four strong innings and Charlie Patterson had a run-scoring double for the Phillies.

WHITE SOX 11,

PHILLIES 0

Nolan Sullivan threw a complete game one hitter for the Sox Sullivan, Zach Jones and Logan Beausoleil were the offensive firepower.

Jack Razzaboni had the hit that stifled the perfect game for the Phillies.
