Top hitters included Isaac Crivac (3 for 4), Kory Cassie (2 for 4, two doubles), Nick Shaw (2 for 4) and Thomas Campbell (2 for 4). Eric Perry and Kyle Vancelette had their first hits of the season.
Cardinals 8, Red Sox 2
Cardinals pitcher Tommy Tierney fell just short of a no-hitter, giving up a hit with two outs in the sixth. Drew Frost came in to close the door for the final out. The Cardinals were led offensively by Drew Frost, Cody Barton and Isaiah Hedquist.
A’s 8, Orioles 4
Brandon Metivier hit his first home run of the season to help his own cause as he pitched well, striking out 10 for the A’s.
Jordan Joyal had a double and triple, and Jordan Andino Raisanen tripled. Defensively, Charlie Crawford played well at first and Sean Edwards was solid in center for the winners. Colin Holbrook and Aiden Smith homered for the Orioles.
A’s 6, Twins 4
Jordan Joyal went four strong innings striking out six and also hit his fourth homer of the season.
Brandon Metivier and John Crawford played great up the middle, turning two double plays, while also collecting two hits each and scoring two runs apiece. Ryan Parks and Taylor Joyal added two hits each.
Rockies 25, Red Sox 10
The Rockies Matt Misserville went 4 for 5, including a homer, while Nick Shaw pitched four solid innings.

HBCSC tryouts
The Hollis Brookline Cavaliers Soccer Club is holding open soccer tryouts for all interested boys and girls U9 through U13-plus (born 2008 and older) the week of June 13 at the Hardy Field Complex on Depot Road in Hollis.
Teams will be organized by assessed skill level and registered in the appropriate competitive divisions of the NHSL. To register and secure a spot at tryouts, visit www.hbcavs.org.

Free Nashua World Cup clinics
Nashua World Cup Soccer will hold two free training sessions on Tuesday, June 7 and Thursday, June 9 at Mine Falls Fields, 50 Whipple St., Nashua from 5-6:30 p.m. for youths born in the year 2009-2010. For more information, visit nashauworldcup.org
Revs holding contest
The New England Revolution, in conjunction with Papa Gino’s, is holding its annual "Play, Eat, Score" contest that awards five local New England youth soccer teams with the prize of a visit from a Revolution player and a pizza party during their soccer practice. Coaches, players and family members can nominate teams to win via an entry form at revolutionsoccer.net/playeatscore. Winners will be selected throughout June.
Softball
Nashua Park-Rec Clinics
The Nashua Parks and Recreation Department will be running several free softball clinics this spring, with focus on fielding/hitting, and pitching/catching. The clinics are open to any Nashua girls ages 7-15 and all clinics are free of charge. The clinics will use a multiple-station format, keeping the girls in constant motion, and will work drills for both novice and advanced skill levels. Contact the Nashua Park-Rec office for future clinic dates.

Babe Ruth All-Star tryouts
Nashua Babe Ruth will be holding 14-year-old All-Star tryouts June 18-19 from 6-8 p.m. at Ledge Street Field.
Basketball
HBHS Summer Camp
The 8th Annul Hollis Brookline Skills and Drills Girls Basketball Camp will be held Aug. 1-5 at Hollis Brookline High School from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Girls from Hollis and Brookline entering grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 are eligible to attend. The camp will be run by HB coaches Bob Murphy, Tara Goldenberg and several of last year’s varsity players.
The camp will include individual skills, group drills, contests, and team games. Cost for the week is $70 per camper. A certified trainer will be present.
Application forms, health and waiver forms and a copy of a recent physical will be required.

MYA elections set
The Merrimack Youth Association (MYA) Basketball Program will be holding elections
for positions on the board of directors on June 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the MYA Building.
Positions are held for one year and run from July 2016 to June 2017.
All volunteers and parents of an MYA participant are eligible to participate in this election.

Milford Basketball Camp
The Milford High School fundraising basketball camp will be held for youths ages 7-16 on June 27-July 1 and July 25-29 at Milford Middle School.
Both week’s sessions will be 8:30 a.m.-2 pm. Monday through Thursday and 8:30-12:30 on Fridays. For cost and further details, call 672-7140.

Cavaliers Mini Mite program
The Southern New Hamspshire Cavaliers will have a Mini Mite limited travel hockey program for boys and girls ages 5-8. There are two 12-week sessions, or youths may register for the full year.

Registration for the June 20-22 Hollis Brookline Jr. Cavaliers cheerleading camp is now open for participates ages 6-13.

Tennis
Granite State Kids registration
Granite State Kids summer junior tennis program is currently accepting registration.
It provides tennis instruction and match play for youths ages 5-18, for all levels, beginner through competition at County Road Courts in Bedford.
Beginner play is Monday and Wednesday mornings. Intermediate practice is Tuesday morning with match play on Thursday.
The season starts June 27 and runs through Aug. 4.
The season winds up with a Tennis Carnival and NH JTT State Tournament. Registration and more information is available on granitestatekids.com.
