Fairgrounds wins crown

The Fairgrounds Middle School volleyball team won the Division I regular season championship (12-0) and overall Tri-County title

Fairgrounds also won the first annual City of Nashua Middle School Tournament and then tournament heading into the Tricounty playoffs.

During the Tri-County playoffs, Fairgrounds defeated Windham 2-0 (25-12, 25-18) in the quarterfinals and Milford 2-0 (25-16, 25-13) in the semifinals.

Fairgrounds then went on to defeat a strong Hollis-Brookline team 2-1 (25-16, 19-25, 15-8) in the championship game played at Nashua High School North.
