Nashua Blast U11 girls (Hiebichuk)

The Nashua Blast U11 Girls team, coached by Korey Hlebichuk and Steve Cote hosted Laconia and posted a victory April 28.

Laconia scored the first goal at 17:10 in the first half. Shortly after, the Blast responded with a number of goals by Julia Cote, with the help of some great assists by Bree Cooley . Liv Hlebichuk and Kiley O’Brien. Hlebichuk scored the Blast’s last goal of the half to round it out at 5-2. Goalie Lauren Grondin and defenders Elinor Addonizio, Alyssa-Ann Johnson, Julia Mendes, and Elise Mikailov maintained the lead.

The Blast stepped up their offense in the second half with Liv Hlebichuk scoring the first goal, followed by additional goals by Hannah Martin, Kiley O’Brien (two), Julia Cote (two), and Grace Conard. Strong offensive support was also provided by Abigail Adasczik, Claudia Barlow, Gabrielle Gardiner, Kendall Marandos, Halee Mele, Sophia Searles, and Mia Taylor. Goalie Lauren Grondin and the excellent defense of the Blast team held Laconia to only one goal in the second half.
