The Nashua Blast U11 A team, under coach Darren Fleury and assistant coaches Gary Ostler, Colton Seymour, and Clayton Wirtanen, have started fast by wining its first two games.

In opener against Dover on April 21, the team won 13-2, with 10 of the 17 boys scoring. Strong offense came from Jordan Bodwell, Drew Fleury, Garrett Fleury, and Matt Zeichick with two goals each. Others adding to the 13 goals were Joey Bodi, Nick Gosselin, Griffin Masseur, Michael Robbins, and John Sullivan with one goal each. Playing well on defense were Yassine Boutlane/Jakib and Matthew Hallahan. Protecting the net were Gosselin and Nathan Zalzal.

In its second game April 28 against Hollis Brookline, Nashua rolled to a 17-2 win. Defensively, Nashua played very well, limiting the number of shots HB was able to take. Playing well on defense were Bodi and Geoffrey Lynch, along with goalies Gosselin and Zalzal, who each blocked a few shots. Offensively, the Blast dominated the field, taking 27 shots, with over half making it into the net.

Strong performances came from Garrett Fleury with three goals, and Bodwell, Masseur, and Zeichick with two goals a piece. Also adding to the strong offensive effort were Drew Fleury, Matthew Beaudette, and Boutlane/Jakib with one goal and an assist each, Curtis Harris, Kendall Heintz, Ely Ostler, Robbins, and Hallahan, all with one goal each, Sullivan with two assists, and Brad Deitrich and Joey Buturla with an assist each.

Its next game is April 5 against Derry.
