On April 20 Nashua PAL boxing took three of their boys to York, Maine to compete at the Jass Boxing Club. Jacob Emond (152 pounds) competed in his very first bout, winning every round. At 88 pounds, Christian Moura also competed for Nashua PAL and won an outstanding bout,.

Juan Perez was able to attend the competition at a weight of 132 pounds but unable to get a bout during this competition.

Nashua PAL boxing is a nonprofit organization located within the Youth Safe Haven on Ash Street in Nashua and offers Olympic-style boxing with USA certified Coaches. Boxers compete annually in the Silver Mittens Tournaments, Golden Gloves Tournament, as well as various other boxing shows across New England.
