Nashua sign-ups

The Nashua Parks and Recreation Dept. is now accepting player registration forms for the upcoming softball season. Registration forms will be available in mid-March at the following locations:

Main offices of all Nashua public and private schools, Jeannotte’s Market, Bright Spot Convenience Store, Nashua Public Library and the city clerk’s office at City Hall. Forms are available now at the Recreation Office at Greeley Park and our web-site at www.gonashua.com.

The younger age groupings have changed to include the following:

Rookie League – Ages 7 and 8. Players in the Rookie League register and there are no tryouts. Players are assigned to teams.

Junior League – Ages 9-12. Nine-year-olds can register and tryout for the Junior League. Any 9-year-old not making a junior team will be assigned to a rookie team. Note that previous JUnior League divisions have merged into one league. All returning players do not need to register or tryout.

Senior League – Ages 13-16. No changes in Senior League. All 13-year-olds and new players need to register and tryout. All returning players stay with their teams.

Tryout dates are April 9 for ages 9-10, 6 p.m., at Roby Park; April 11 for aged 11-12, 6 p.m., at Roby Park; April 16 for ages 13-16, 6 p.m. at Roby Park.

Rain date and makeup date for 13-16 is April 18, 6 p.m., at Roby Park.
