The Resurrection Girls Cadets (grades 7-8) CYO team repeated as state champions with a hard-fought victory over St. Pius of Manchester by a score of 36-21. The title game, played at the big gym at New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, was a fast-paced encounter with the Resurrection up-tempo game proving the difference. Despite having two players out, Resurrection was able to keep up a fast pace and outlast the girls from St. Pius. Resurrection was led by Meghan Donovan with 16 points, Eireann Kolden with 9, and Erika Dahl with 6. Danielle Upton, as she did all year, played a strong game at point guard and on defense. Also contributing baskets were Kathryn Lynn and Lindsey Ireland, while Eryn Bavis and Amanda McConville played strong defense. Regular contributors during the year also included Molly Dee and Grace Tomasetti.
