Nighthawks boys champs

The Nashua Nighthawks fourth grade team captured the Merrimack Valley Basketball League championship. In the quarterfinals Nashua outscored Tewksbury (Mass.) 42-22. Nashua played a tough Salem team in the semifinal game, winning 41-31. The Nighthawks defeated Billerica (Mass.) in the championship, 58-50.

Overall, the Nighthawks fourth grade team was undefeated throughout the season, won three tournaments and was league champs. Led by coach Stephanie Kane and assistant coach Aaron Lopez, the players included Curtis Harris, Nathan Kane, Matthew Keisling, Rhett Medling, Stephen Norris, Michael Robbins, John Sullivan, Joshua Taylor, River Hart, Daniel Dockrill and Joshua Kane.
