Nashua student at Nationals

A local Nashua student, Lexi LaFontaine from Pennichuck Middle School, helped capture an NCA All Star National Cheer title last weekend. She is the only student from Nashua on the ECE J5 cheer team out of Tewksbury Mass.

The team successfully performed an outstanding routine both days at the Dallas Convention Center to bring home the title.

The two-day event is the largest championship in the world with more than 22,000 cheerleaders and dancers.

The championship will be televised on CBS Sports Network on April 21 at noon.
