Northeast Junior High School League

The Northeast Junior High School Football League recently added Chelsea, Mass., as its 13th member.

Chelsea joins on the heels of two other teams, the Timberlane Tornadoes based out of Plaistow and the Sanborn Junior Indians in Kingston.

The Northeast Junior High Football League has been in existence in one form or another for more than 30 years and is made up of teams from southern New Hampshire (Bedford, Derry, Londonderry, Manchester, Merrimack, Souhegan, Sanborn and Timberlane) and northeastern Massachusetts (Andover, Billerica, Lowell, Tewksbury, and Chelsea).

All share in the same philosophy of providing an opportunity for teams/organizations to participate in football and cheering at multiple levels. The league is currently open for new membership; for more information visit the league’s website http://www.northeastjhfl.com.
