The Amherst Recreation Team 1 is the 2013 champion of the Grade 7-8 Silver Valley League. The boys showed poise, determination and great sportsmanship all season, and persevered through the playoff tournament by wining a thrilling championship game by one point against a strong team from Pine Hill Waldorf.
