Hayden Moses had the time of his life in Orlando, Fla. Unlike the average 10-year-old boy it wasn’t because he conquered all the rides at Walt Disney World. Instead, Moses dominated the competition at the United States National Taekwondo Championships.

Moses – an honors student at World Academy in Nashua who began martial arts at age 5 under the direction of Senior Master Robert Roy in Amherst – recently won the gold medal in traditional weapons and a silver in traditional forms.

This is Moses second gold at a national championship and his third overall.

He is presently ranked No. 2 in weapons and No. 5 in forms worldwide for his age group.

He will compete at July’s World Championships in Little Rock, Ark.
