Eight Nashua youths won their respective age divisions at the 13th annual Elks Greater Nashua Soccer Shoot on Aug. 18 at the Main Dunstable Road Soccer Fields in Nashua.

12-year-old Jacob Pike won the Boys U14 Grid Division with 10-year-old Gabe Baxton topping a large group of challengers in the Boys U12 Grid Division, edging out runner-up Nathan Hyde with David Pike placing third.

9-year-old Elliott Mason won the Boys U10 5-Goal Division with Jesse Hantula placing second. The Boys U8 Division was won by 5-year-old Noah Kapapoulos, with runner-up honors going to Jooha Hantula and Nathan Fechke placing third.

12-year-old Hannah Dobson won the Girls U14 Grid Division with 11-year-old Katie Paquette winning the Girls U12 Grid Division. Nine-year-old Sophia Fechke won the Girls 5-Goal Division with Carly Morse earning runner-up honors. Rounding out the Girls 5-Goal division was 7-year-old Alexandria Kapopoulos capturing first place and Emma Mason finishing in the runner-up spot.

The eight winners of the Elks Greater Nashua Soccer Shoot first place gold medallion ribbons will now compete against other Elks Soccer Shoot champions from throughout New Hampshire at the 2012 State Elks Soccer Shoot in Franklin on Oct. 13.

New Hampshire champions will advance to the Elks Region 1 Soccer Shoot in November.
