Softball

The NH Black Widows ASA softball organization: Tryouts will be held at Keyes Field (located on Elm Street) in Milford on Sunday, Aug. 19. The Black Widows will field teams at the 10U, 12U and 16U levels for 2013. If you are interested in coaching a 14U team in 2013, contact Chris Mazzeo at 801-7585 or chris..mazzeo@comcast.net.

Tryouts for 10U and 12U run from 3-5 p.m. Questions concerning the 10U level can be directed

Hudson Heat Gold 12U: Open tryouts are scheduled for Aug. 13 and 14 at Kiwanis Field (95 Cross Rd., Hudson) at 5:30 p.m., as well as Aug. 6, 7, 15 and 16 at Pelham Memorial School (Marsh Road, Pelham) at 5:30 p.m. Contact coach Michael Soby at 930-0980 with any questions.

Baseball

NH Grizzlies: Tryouts are set for Sunday, Aug. 19 at Southern New Hampshire University (2,500 N. River Rd., Manchester) for 13-year-olds from 9-11 a.m., 14-year-olds from noon-2 p.m., 15-year-olds from 2:30-4:30 and 16-year-olds from 2:30-4:30. There is a cost of $35.

The NH Grizzlies were established in 1996 to provide a full-year workout program with semi-professional and professional instructors and have placed over 100 players in college and three in Major League Baseball. For more information, e-mail nhgrizzlies@comcast.net.
