Two AAU programs holding tryouts for six teams in August
The New Hampshire Diamond Devils and the New Hampshire Knights AAU Baseball Clubs will hold tryouts for 2013 teams on Aug. 12 at Academy Field in Hollis. The Diamond Devils will hold tryouts for three teams – ages 10, 11 and 12 – while the Knights three team tryouts are for ages 13, 14 and Senior Knights ages 15-17. The age determination date is April 1, 2013. Both clubs offer a 30-game schedule, travel tournaments and off-season training to take your game to the highest level. Camps
Catching Camp set for two weeks of training
The New England Catching Camp still has space available for the 2012 Summer Camps. There will again be two weeks of camp to choose from.
The four-day, 16-hour camps will be held July 23-26 and Aug. 6-9.
This camp has drawn hundreds of baseball and fast-pitch softball catchers from across the country over the last 11 years, and is the only camp in New England exclusively for catchers.
NECC will be offering a session for player’s ages 8-12 from 8 a.m.-noon and ages 13-18 will meet from 1-5 p.m. daily.
The camp will be held at Lions Field in Hudson, and will focus on all the skills needed to excel at the games most demanding position.
The sessions will include training on receiving, blocking, throwing, all fielding skills, as well as proper stretching and conditioning.

G.I.D hosting weeklong camp
The G.I.D. Baseball Program will host summer camp July 23-27 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. each day.
Campers will work on fundamentals of hitting, pitching, fielding and baserunning.
The camp fee includes a t-shirt and pizza the last day of the camp. Campers that complete a full week will compete in Home Run Derby with trophies for first, second and third place for the top sluggers. For more info go to www.leaguelineup.com/teamgid. To sign up, e-mail or call.

Swimming
Two lesson sessions left
The Nashua Parks & Recreation Department has two summer swim lesson sessions remaining. Space is limited.
Registration forms will be available at the Recreation Office in Greeley Park and online at www.gonashua.com.
Swim lessons are $20 per child or a maximum of $60 per family per session. Each session runs two weeks and lessons are one-half hour in length.
All lessons take place between 9 a.m.-noon. Session dates are: July 16-27 and Aug. 6-17.
