Boys Junior Biddy

Bulldogs 24, Sharks 8

Sahil Mahendraker took player of the game honors for the Bulldogs after scoring his first career basket and playing some very aggressive defense. Others scoring points include Nithish Bodicharla, Isaac Colon, Jaden Murphy, Andre Ducharme, Viraj Jayaraman, Alex Meesig and Peyton Adams. Others playing well on defense include Dean Adams, Roy and Lee Hill, Caleb Plourde, Kobey Marshall, and Devin Alexander.

Knicks 31, Broncos 21

After a nail-biting close game, the Knicks eeked ahead in the final quarter. The Knicks’ “Big Three” led the team with spirit and style with Stav scoring 14, Yassine 6, and Eric 5 points. All teammates contributed; Josh and Marcus added 2 and 4 points respectively to the total. Leading the Broncos was Jayden scoring 9 points and Aiden acting as a great defensive stopper.

Nuggets 36, Spurs 7

Great team play by the Nuggets, who had 8 of 13 players scoring, led by Keval Botadra and Rhett Medling, both with 8.

Followed by Zack Berthiaume (6), Manav Botadra (4), Julian Gonzalez (4), Miles Rios (2), Cesar Mendoza (2), and Damien Peterson(2).

Knicks 20, Saints 14

The Knicks’ scoring was concentrated. Three players, Yassine, Eric, and Mauricio each scored 6 points; Stav scored 2 points. The Saints spread the scoring throughout the team. Owen led the team with 4 points, other buckets came from Michael, Jack, Andrew, and Nasir, who each scored 2 points; and Siddart and Galon who each scored one point.

Cougars 24, Celtics 21

An exciting early season game between the Cougars and Celtics ended with the first victory of the year for the Cougars. The Cougars were led on offense by Joey Morse with 10 points. Josh Kinghorn was strong on the boards and chipped in with 4 points. Defensively Aaron Roberge, Manny Mendoza, and Isaac Smith all played well. The Celtics put up a battle the entire game led by Shubh Dubey and Charlie Collins with 6 points each. Dylan Nolet contributed as well with 5 points.

Falcons 18, Sharks 7

Christian Belonga led all scorers with 10 points followed by Donovan Labatte with 6 and Luis Maldonado with 2…Tyler Julien filled in on the first team and contributed with some terrific defense as well

Cougars 29, Falcons 24

The Falcons and Cougars played an action-packed early season game with several lead changes throughout the night. At the final whistle, the Cougars escaped with a narrow win, 29-24. The Cougars were led on offense by Aaron Roberge with 11 points and Joey Morse contributed with 7. Akshey Shinde played solid defense forcing 3 turnovers and scoring on one of them. Other standouts were Matt Rittenberg and Dev Parekh with multiple rebounds and playing strong in the paint.

Nuggets 17, Sharks 14

The Nuggets were up 9 points going into the 4th quarter, when the Sharks came back to tie the game at 14, with a shot from Louis Dvorak(2). Also scoring for the Sharks were Braden McDonnell (6), Ryan Downing (4), and Colby Martel (2). The Nuggets were lead by Manav Botadra (8 points), and Jack Ayer (4), but the clutch shot was from Bryan Boyle to gain the lead again for the Nuggets.

Boys Biddy

Bullets 37, Stars 22 Ashanti Brodie led the Bullets with 7 points and 3 assists; Damon Alexander and Ethan Carta-Ducharme chipped in with 6 points apiece James Bolton led the Stars with 10 points.

Bullets 37, Eagles 26

The Bullets were led by Ashanti Brodie with 12 points and Noah Cardin with 10 points; Casey McNally chipped in with 6 points. Jarret Bieren led the Eagles with 11 points and Jack Leatherman added 6 points.

Lancers 57, Eagles 26

The Lancers topped the Eagles 57-26. 13 of the 15 Lancers scored, led by Sam Mena (8), Mitch Mahoney (8), Killian Waible (7) and John Champa (6). Bhanu Kappala, Pranava Prabala and Chris Inzerillo also had strong games. The Eagles were led by Jack Leatheman (8), Tyler Dubien (8), Noah Blecharzyk (4) and Sam Mailognaggi (4).

Lancers 48, Knicks 21

A fierce full-court defense led turnovers and points for the Lancers. The Lancers were led by John Champa (15), Chaz Magras (8) and Harper Niven (6). Mitch Mahoney and Sam Mena also had strong games. The Knicks were led by Richie Mercardo (10) and Sam Charron (6).

Warriors 57, Knicks 24

Ronnie Silva, Jean Paul Diaz, and Illya Scott led the Warriors in points to their win over the Knicks. There was also strong defense as a team led by Timothy Roscoe and Dominick Paladino. Richie Mercado led the Knicks with 7 points. Great all-around play from both teams.

Warriors 54, Satellites 28

With absences from starters on both teams, The Warriors had strong contributions from everyone. Adam Kelliher, 6 points, and Gaven Forcier, 4 points, played a great game. While in early foul trouble, Jean Paul Diaz stepped up for the Warriors and displayed and excellent effort

Sonics 45, Royals 25

The Sonics pulled away in the second half to win their third game of the year. Jordan Buckmire led all scorers with 18 points while Robert Batsevich added 8. Aaron Silva had 5 points and Matt Savoia 4 points off the bench. The Royals were paced by Yannis Netanija with 9 points and several blocked shots.

Sonics 53, Cougars 31

The Sonics received balanced scoring to beat the Cougars for their fourth win of the season. Tim McMeniman led all scorers with 10 points while Michael Riley and Tony Agor each added 8 points. Jake Murphy chipped in 6. The Cougars were paced by Matt Franco with 7 points and Josh Farrel with 6 points.

Boys Bantam

Knicks 60, Suns 47

The Knicks were led by Matt Lavallee with 13 points and Rishi Kamdar with 12. Ben walker led the Suns with 15 points.

Knicks 64, Celtics 51

Matt Lavallee led the Knicks with 24 points followed by Caset Humphrey with 10 and Mike McCarthy with 9. Tom Highland paced the Celtics with 16 points.

Colts 60, Tomcats 23

The Colts displayed excellent passing and played a great team game supported by outstanding defense. They had a balanced scoring attack that was led by Ryan Naber with 9 points, and Sumeet Salvi and Cameron Novotny with 7 each.

Colts 74, Kings 38

The Colts received solid contributions from everyone and were led in scoring by Cal O’Rourke with 20, got a breakout game from Cameron Novotny who scored 17, and Chaz Dewitt scored 10 points. The Kings got 11 points from Ryan Penkala and good guard play from Jason Fox.

Nashua Nighthawks

4th Grade

The 4th grade defeated Tewksbury Blue 39 to 9. Curtis Harris had 4 steals and led the team with 8 points, Xarrack Frater had 3 steals and 6 points. Nathan Kane had 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 4 points.

Nashua defeated Lowell White 36-8. Stav Alkalay had 8 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Yassine Jakib had 6 rebounds and 2 steals, while CJ Dawe had 6 assist and 3 steals.

5th Grade

The Nighthawks continue to play well and defeated Tewksbury 59-20. Leading the Hawks was Jeffrey Reza (11 pts), Nevan Roy (10 pts), and Jake Robbins (10 pts). Also contributing to the offense were Patrick Gillis (6 pts), Matt Wall (6 pts), Andrew Penkala (4 pts), Gabe Perrault (4 pts), Andre LaPlante (4 pts), Chase Hart (2 pts), and Chris Inzerillo (2 pts). Also playing well was Tyler Downing (steal, assist, rebound).

The Nighthawks beat Windham 49-41 in overtime to remain undefeated. Nevan Roy led Nashua with 26 pts, as well as 15 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Also scoring points were Jeffrey Reza (8pts), Andrew Penkala (8 pts), Gabe Perrault (2 pts), Chase Hart (2 pts), and Casey McNally (1 pt). Also playing well were Tyler Downing and Andre LaPlante, who each played point guard and recorded important assists.

6th Grade

Nashua 6th grade defeated Billerica 42-39. Alonzo Linton rose to the occasion leading the team with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Tyson Thomas had 9 points. Skye Boykin was intense on the defense and pulled off 5 steals.

Nashua defeated Methuen 60-53. Xahn Frater led the Hawks with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assist, and 7 steals. Yanis Nyantenji had 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. This team continues to demonstrate formidable defense making it hard for their opponents to penetrate, two of the many contributors to that defense tonight were Matthew Franco and Sclyler Boykin.

8th Grade

The 8th Grade Nashua Nighthawks lost to Andover Blue 65-36. Chad Olivieri led the Nighthawks with 14 points. Also adding points were Shane Legraw (7 ), Ben Seegel (10), Casey Fisher (2), and Jack Barnes (3). Spencer Bergeron had a strong game on the boards, while Collin Morrow and Garett Bozek distributed the ball well from the point guard position. Both Max Serra and Brint McDonald provided defensive support.
