By Staff | Nov 14, 2010

Hollis 12-year-old Jack Barbour recorded his third straight Elks Soccer Shoot Regional title.

Barbour won the Area 1 Boys U14 Elks Regional Soccer Shoot championship at the Hampton Sports Complex on Nov. 6. His three-peat started in Connecticut in 2008, continued last year in Vermont and concluded last Saturday in the Granite State.

He competed against six other competitors from throughout New England and New York for the 2010 title, recording 42 points on his way to victory.

The other three boys regional champions were Connecticut’s Ronan Moynihan (U8), Maine’s Cameron Chase (U10) and Massachusetts’ Aaron Frongillo (U12).

The four girl winners were Devon Nicholson (U8), Samantha Shapiro (U10) and Kaylee Olmstead (U12), all from New York, and Rhode Island’s Shanice Lebonte (U14).

The 56 Elks state champions and their parents were guests of the Elks Regional Soccer Shoot Committee for the three-day regional event. The annual Elks Regional Soccer Shoot concludes the Elks Soccer Shoot Program for 2010.
