3rd Grade

Nashua Elks Crusaders 33, Franklin 0

The Elks Crusaders dominated on both sides of the ball. The Elks defense was led by Nathan Zalzal and Alex Ortiz. The Offense was led by Eren LaBonte and Nathan Zalzal. The Crusaders scored five touchdowns en route to a 33-0 victory. Some notable achievements throughout the game: LaBonte one rushing Touchdown and one touchdown passing. Curtis Harris rushed for two touchdowns. Ortiz and Ben Levine each rushed for a touchdown. The game ball went to Tyler Armeen. Armeen had some great blocking on numerous plays, also made some good tackles and most important recovered to kickoffs for us due his speed and aggression on the ball.

Nashua PAL Force beats Laconia

Lead by game captains Robbie Long, Max Ackerman, John Jigarjian and Donovan LaBate, the PAL Force third grade squad traveled to the Lakes Region and topped the Laconia Chiefs. Brody Mills and Keegan Mills were tough on the defensive side of the ball as were Labate and Chris Heitmiller. Offensively, Owen Finn, Mickey Mathson, Ethan Connor, and Shaun Marion opened up the holes allowing Keegan Mills and James Heitmiller to score touchdowns and extra points.

4th Grade

Elks Crusaders 28, Bedford Jaguars 0

The Nashua Crusader’s 4th Grade Team earned their first victory of the young season against the Bedford Jaguars to improve to 1-1. Nashua used a well balanced offense and stingy defense to secure the victory. Nashua opened the scoring early in the first quarter on a touchdown pass from Andrew Penkala to Jeffrey Reza. The Crusader’s offense scored two more times in the first half and received scores from Jake Robbins (TD), Reza (TD), Penkala (2 Extra Points), and Casey McNally (Extra Point). In the second half the score remained 21-0 through the 3rd Quarter until Jaylan Pacheco took control of the Nashua ground attack and scored a running touchdown and extra point. The Nashua offensive line blocked well all game and received solid games from Jeremiah Lones, Braden McDonnell, Aaron Noonan, and Max Sheppard.

Leading the Crusader defense was Mike Robbins, Brenden Frost, Cole Desmond, and Jason Messier, each with multiple tackles. Robbins made the defense stop of the game saving a touchdown on a great open field tackle. Also making plays on defense were Christian Belonga, Quincy Cotto, Sam Barisano, Jack D’Amato, Samuel Crain, and Tige McNulty.

6th Grade

Nashua Elks Crusaders 21, Franklin 2

The Nashua Elks Crusaders (2-0) beat Franklin 21-2 in their home opener. D.J. Frechette rushed for two touchdowns and threw a 30-yard TD pass to Rohan Patel. Also playing well for the offense was Brian Ingram and Kevin Genao. The defense shut out the Franklin offense with standout play from Aaron Decarteret, Cyrus Forcier, Max Osgood, Nick Iannuzzo. Also playing well for the defense was Ian Read, Sarveen Shafiyan-Rad and Nick Stockman.

Nashua Force 13, Laconia 6

The PAL Force 6th graders improved to 1-1 by topping the Laconia Chiefs 13-6. Scoring touchdowns were Stephen Giacona (65-yard TD run) and Levi Gosselin. Quarterback Jared Levesque led the Force offense behing strong blocking from Jacob Savage, Trey Legraw, Austin Rancourt, and Finn Littlefield. On defense, Zach Bodwell, Joey Bernard, Joe Allen, Jorge Rivera, Justin Anderson, and Steve Lambert (fourth quarter interception) held Laconia to a single touchdown.

Middle School Varsity

Nashua Force 24, Nor-Rock 0

The PAL Force middle school varsity team traveled to Raymond and shut out Nor-Rock 24-0. Dimitri Jackson, Connor Baldassaro and Matt Lavallee (2 touchdowns) accounted for the Force scoring behind a 70-yard passing performance by quarterback Colby Gunter, who also made a late-game interception. Lavallee also had a good defensive game, as did Ryan Patrone. The 2-0 Force next face the Hudson-Litchfield Bears at Stellos Stadium.

H/B Jr. Cavaliers 28, Gilford 0

The Cavalier’s offense struck early and often in their 28-0 win over Gilford. The Cavalier’s scored four touchdowns in the first half. The defense held the Hawks to only 3 total first downs in the game while the offensive unit amassed 344 total yards. Nick Schutz led the team with 143 yards and 3 touchdowns (35, 46, and 52 yard runs) on only 4 carries. The other touchdown came on a precise pass from Killian Jeffreys to Tommy Schmalz who broke 2 tackles and went in for the 33 yard Touchdown. Jeffreys finished the day with 81 passing yards while an ensemble of players helped to account for the 261 rushing yards. Schutz, Wyatt Farwell, Jeffreys, Brendan MacVarish, and Andrew Butler all piled up double digit rushing yards.

Middle School JV

Gilford 24, Jr. Cavaliers 16

The Junior Varsity team came out Saturday looking sharp. Though they posted a 24-16 loss, they were in it until the very last play where a pass play downfield nearly allowed the JV Cavs to be in a position to tie.

Nor-Rock 36, Nashua Force 26

The Force Middle School JV team lost a tough one to the Nor-Rock JV’s, 36-26. David Muite, Jordan Delgado, Zach Janoff, and Jordan Berube turned in solid performances.

PAL Force Yellow 21, Manchester East 21

The Nashua PAL Force “Yelow” team opened their inaugural season with a 21-21 tie versus Manchester East at Raymond’s Nor-Rock field. Quarterback Kobe Pacheco provided all of PAL’s points behind the tough offensive line comprised of Aidan Watson, Drew Sheehan, Nick Klayton, Reid Lavoie and Dominic DeClement. On the defensive side of the ball, David Simpson, Devyn Lavoie, Trent Jackson and Patrick Costa kept the Queen City sqaud in check.

Bedford 35, PAL Force Blue 14

The Nashua PAL Force “Blue” squad opened their inaugural season with a 35-14 loss to Bedford at Nor-Rock field in Raymond.

Quarterback Patrick Keegan accounted for both PAL touchtowns with plenty of offensive support from Ariyan Cora, Xavier Francis, Zaeden Crocker, Ben Mullett, Gavin Connors and Jessy Allen.

Defensively, Bobby Canaway, Charlie Bellavance, Jayden Allen, Cody Morton and Nick Digesse did their best to stymie a tough Bedford team.
