The Nashua Parks-Recreation Department is working on its 24th annual Gene Barretto All-Star Basketball Tournament, which will kick off this Wednesday. All games will be held in the Chestnut Street Gym.

On Wednesday, the Boys Junior NBA division I and II will play in the first game at 6 p.m. and the ABA divisions will follow in the second game. Junior division awards will be given out prior to each game.

On Thursday, Boys Bantam ABA division I and II will play in the first game at 6 p.m. and the NBA divisions will follow in the second game. Bantam division awards will be given out prior to each game.

On Friday, it’s the Boys Biddy NBA division I and II play in the first game at 6 p.m. followed by the ABA divisions.

Saturday, is a busy day. Things kick off at 9 a.m. with the Girls Junior Biddy awards, followed at 9:30 with their All-Star game. The Boys Juniors final takes place at 11. The Girls Biddy players receive awards at 12:30 p.m., followed by their All-Star Game at 1 p.m. At 2, the Girls Senior league takes the court for awards and its All-Star Game. The Boys Bantame final gets underway at 4, followed by the Coaches All-Star Game at 5:30 and the Boys Biddy final at 7:30.

There will be a small admission charge. In lieu of the admission fee, fans are encouraged to bring a canned food item to be donated to local food pantries. All admission fees will be donated to local food pantries.
