The Greater Nashua Middle School girls cross country ski team edged out Concord to win the New Hampshire Middle School State Championship held at the Gunstock Nordic Center on Feb. 15. The Greater Nashua girls were paced by three top 10 finishes from Nashua Catholic skiers in the 4K individual skate race – Jane Edwards, pictured above, in seventh, Katherine Swallow in eighth and Sarah Swallow in 10th. The Swallows and Edwards combined to take second in the 3x1K classic relay which gave them just enough team points to hold on to the lead and take the championship.
