The Nashua School of Gymnastics Level 4 gymnasts competed in their first meet of the season on Jan. 31 at Tri-Star Gymnastics in Dover. Gymnasts needed an All-around score of 31.00 or higher to qualify for Sectionals.

Individual Results

LEVEL 4 (ages 6-8)

Emily Colburn qualified with an all-around score of 35.10 (first). She scored 8.75 on vault (second), 9.00 on bars (first), 9.10 on beam (first) and 8.25 on floor (second).

Mariah Fadjo qualified with an all-around score of 32.975. She scored 8.55 on vault (third), 8.425 on bars (fourth), 8.80 on beam (third) and 7.20 on floor.

Breanna Vivier had an all-around score of 29.15. She scored 7.50 on vault, 6.90 on bars, 7.45 on beam and 7.30 on floor.

Sarah Signorello had an all-around score of 28.95. She scored 8.15 on vault, 6.10 on bars, 7.40 on beam and 7.30 on floor.

Emma Lynch had an all-around score of 28.20. She scored 7.85 on vault, 6.00 on bars, 7.35 on beam and 7.00 on floor.

The NSG Level 7 and 8 gymnasts traveled to the Bay State Classic ‘Survival of the Fittest’ Invitational Meet in Lowell, Mass., on Jan. 30. Level 8 took second place as a team.

Level 7 (Intermediate Division)

Abby Guilfoil scored 9.30 on vault (first place) , 8.70 (ninth place) on beam and 9.15 (fourth place).

Level 7 (Junior Division)

Deanna Poirier had an all-around score of 33.875 (5th place); she scored 9.425 (second place) on vault, 8.25 (fourth place) on bars, 7.40 on beam and 8.80 on floor.

Level 8 (Intermediate Division)

Alanna Murphy had an all-around score of 34.275 (third place); she scored an 8.55 (fourth place) on vault, 8.425 (second place) on bars, 8.25 (6th place) on beam and 9.05 (6th place) on floor.

Megan Middlemiss had an all-around score of 34.05 (fourth place); she scored an 8.40 (6th place) on vault, 8.20 (third place) on bars, 8.10 on beam and 9.35 (second place) on floor.

Skyler Goss had an all-around score of 33.725; she scored an 8.20 on vault, 7.55 on bars, 8.625 (5th place) on beam and 9.35 (third place) on floor.

Level 8 (Junior Division)

Taylor Christiansen scored 8.55 (second place) on vault, 8.60 (second place) on beam and 8.95 (fourth place) on floor.

The Compulsory Gymnasts (Levels 4-6) competed in their first Sectional held at Granite State Gymnastics Center in Bow. Gymnasts needed a 33.00 or higher to qualify for States held in April.

Level 5 (Age 7-8)

Devon Rosier qualified with an all-around score of 33.725(second place). She scored 8.60(second) on vault,8.10 on bars, 8.05 on beam and 9.025 on floor.

Jenna Hantula qualified with an all-around score of 33.65(third place tie). She scored 7.75 on vault, 7.85 on bars, 8.80 (first tie) on beam and 9.25(second) on floor.

Level 6

Aditi Sirsikar qualified with an all-around of 34.375 (fourth place); she scored an 7.85 on vault, 8.65 (fourth Tie) on bars, 8.85 (third ) on beam and 9.025 (second) on floor.

Kayla Townsend qualified with an all-around score of 33.80; she scored a 7.55 on vault, 8.80 (second) on bars, 9.05 (third) on beam and 8.40 on floor.

Blake Boulia qualified with an all-around score of 33.675; she scored a 7.90 on vault, 8.20 on bars, 8.70 (fourth) on beam and 8.875 (fourth) on floor.

Ariel Flaisher had an all-around score of 32.55; 8.30 on vault, 8.00 on bars, 8.10 on beam and 8.15 on floor.

The Optional Gymnasts (Levels 7-9) participated in the “Kick off Classic 2010” at 360 Gymnastics in Shirley, Mass. The Level 8 gymnasts took first as a team.

Abby Guilfoil had an all-around score of 32.95 with Vault 9.45 (fourth), Beam 8.40 (7th) and floor 8.75 (seventh)

Level 7 Senior

Deanna Poirier had an all-around score of 33.75 (sixth place) with Vault 9.60 (third), Bars 8.45 (third), Beam 7.25, and floor 8.45 (ninth)

Level 8 Junior

Alanna Murphy had an all-around score of 34.925 (second place), she had an 8.30 on vault, an 8.50 on bars (fourth), a 9.175 on beam (first) and an 8.95 on floor (third).

Skyler Goss had an all-around score of 34.55 (fourth place), she had an 8.5 on vault, an 8.25 on bars (5th), an 8.70 on beam and a 9.10 on floor (first).

Level 8 Senior

Megan Middlemiss had an all-around score of 33.55 (first place) she had an 8.325 on vault (fourth), an 8.05 on bars (first), an 8.60 on beam (first) and an 8.65 on floor (second).

Level 9 Senior

Taylor Boulia had an all-around score of 29.5 (fourth place) she had an 8.5 on vault (second), a 5.85 on bars (fourth), a 7.0 on beam (fourth) and an 8.15 on floor (fourth).

Local competes at Bay State Classic

The Phantom Gymnastics Level 8 team finished first at the Bay State Classic on Jan. 30.

All five members of the team finished in the top five in their respective age groups, with Nashua’s Gabie Mack leading the way in the intermediate division.

Mack grabbed the All-around bronze with a score of 34.4.

She finished in second place on vault (8.85) and floor (9.4), and sixth on bars (8.05). Mack also posted an 8.1 on beam.

NEGTC gymnasts shine at first State Sectional

New England Gymnastics Training Center of Hudson competed in the State Sectional in Bow on Saturday Feb. 6. NEGTC’s Levels 4, 5 and 6 teams competed in Session I. NEGTC gymnasts brought home plenty of top-place ribbons. This meet was also considered a qualifier for the upcoming Spring State Meet in March. The gymnasts needed a score of 33.000 or higher to qualify.
