BASEBALL

WEST CAL RIPKEN: Nashua West Cal Ripken, which offers four levels of playing for children ages 41?2-12 (Majors, AAA, Rookies and T-Ball), will be taking registrations ($45 single fee, $60 family plan) from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Nashua West Cal Ripken Clubhouse on the corner of Grand Avenue and North Seventh Street (next to Ledge Street School) on the following dates: Feb. 6 and 7 ($10 off total registration fee); Feb. 13, 14, 20 and 21 ($5 off total registration fee); and Feb. 27 and 28. NORTHWEST CAL RIPKEN: Nashua Northwest Cal Ripken Baseball is now accepting online registrations for new and returning players for the 2010 spring season. You can go to www.nashuanw.org for more information.

NORTH CAL RIPKEN: Registration for new and returning players is now open to all children ages 5-12 (as of 4/30/10) living in the 03064 zip code. To download a form visit http:// nashuanorth.baberuthbaseball.com. Forms will also be distributed to all students at Charlotte Ave., Mount Pleasant, and St. Christopher Schools. You can also obtain a form at Jeannotte’s Market. Skills assessment for ages 9-12 who did not play on a major league team last spring will take place at the Amherst Street School gym on March 27 from 8 a.m.-noon. See the Web site for times by age group. The 6th annual Equipment Swap will take place at that same time and location. Drop off used equipment starting at 8 a.m.

AMHERST SOCCER CLUB: ASC, open to players from any town, is now taking registrations for boys and girls ages U3-U10 for the spring Tots and Early Development Program (EDP). LACROSSE

NASHUA YOUTH LACROSSE: The Nashua Blast Youth Lacrosse League is now taking girls and boys registration for the upcoming 2010 spring season. The divisions are U9 (boys only), U11, U13 and U15. For on-line registration you can visit the league Web site at www.nashualacrosse.org. For all related information click on the FORMS/DOCS/FILES button. Space is limited, and registration closes on Feb. 15.

AMHERST EQUIPMENT SWAP: The Amherst Lacrosse Club will hold its first equipment swap on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the Amherst Middle School. Donations can include sticks, gloves, elbow and shoulder pads, goggles and helmets. If you find something you like during the sawp hours, make a donation to the club and get your child outfitted for the season. Available equipment will be dependent upon donations. Unclaimed items will be donated to local area lacrosse programs. To donate equipment, stop by the Amherst Middle School or Souhegan High School now through Feb. 8 and leave your equipment in the designated box outside the main office or e-mail laxnight@comcast.net to arrange pick up.

BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

MYA SOFTBALL: General skills and Pitching clinics will be held on Feb. 7, 14 and 21, as well as, March 7, 14 and 21 clinics are held from 9 a.m.-noon. Instructional and minor league age girls should report to Thornton Ferry school. Major and senior league will report to Reeds Ferry school. Cost is only $10 to attend all six skills or pitching clinics and only $15 to attend both. E-mail director@myasoftball.com for more information.

EXTRA INNINGS NASHUA: Join Extra Innings on Mondays for our Mizuno “Never Settle” Baseball Pitching/Catching Clinic on Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22. Ages 7-12 will be from 6:15-7:30 p.m. and ages 13-17 will have their clinic from 7:45-9 p.m. Extra Innings DeMarini Softball Hitting Clinic will be held on Tuesdays Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23. Ages 7-12 will attend from 6:15-7:30 p.m. with ages 13-17 from 7:45-9 p.m. During February Vacation week (Feb. 22-26), Easton will hold a New Hampshire Clinic for ages 7-14 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This clinic will provide tips with hitting, pitching and fielding. Participate in one or more of these clinics and receive a free gift from the manufacturer holding that clinic. BASKETBALL

25TH BOW TOURNEY: There are still limited openings for the 25th annual Bow Athletic Club Basketball Tournament to be held Feb. 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28. This is a Friday night, Saturday and Sunday format both weekends enjoyed by area teams year-after-year. There are still openings for 5th/6th grade boys teams and for 7th/8th grade girls teams.
