WEST CAL RIPKEN: Nashua West Cal Ripken, which offers four levels of playing for children ages 41?2-12 (Majors, AAA, Rookies and T-Ball), will be taking registrations ($45 single fee, $60 family plan) from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Nashua West Cal Ripken Clubhouse on the corner of Grand Avenue and North Seventh Street (next to Ledge Street School) on the following dates: Feb. 6 and 7 ($10 off total registration fee); Feb. 13, 14, 20 and 21 ($5 off total registration fee); and Feb. 27 and 28. NORTH CAL RIPKEN: Registration for new and returning players is now open to all children ages 5-12 (as of 4/30/10) living in the 03064 zip code. To download a form visit http://nashuanorth.baberuthbaseball.com. Forms will also be distributed to all students at Charlotte Ave., Mount Pleasant, and St. Christopher Schools. You can also obtain a form at Jeannotte’s Market. Skills assessment for ages 9-12 who did not play on a major league team last spring will take place at the Amherst Street School gym on March 27 from 8 a.m.-noon. See the Web site for times by age group. The 6th annual Equipment Swap will take place at that same time and location. Drop off used equipment starting at 8 a.m.

AMHERST SOCCER CLUB: ASC is now taking registrations for boys and girls ages U3-U10 for the spring Tots and Early Development Program. AMHERST EQUIPMENT SWAP: The Amherst Lacrosse Club will hold an equipment swap on Feb. 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the Amherst Middle School. Donations (sticks, gloves, elbow and shoulder pads, goggles and helmets) can be dropped off at Amherst Middle School or Souhegan High now through Feb. 8 in designated boxes outside the main office or e-mail laxnight@comcast.net for pick up.

MYA SOFTBALL: General skills and Pitching clinics will be held Feb. 7, 14 and 21, and March 7, 14 and 21 from 9 a.m.-noon. Instructional and minor league age girls should report to Thornton Ferry school. Major and senior league will report to Reeds Ferry school. EXTRA INNINGS NASHUA: Join Extra Innings on Mondays for our Mizuno “Never Settle” Baseball Pitching/Catching Clinic on Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22. Ages 7-12 will be from 6:15-7:30 p.m. and ages 13-17 will have their clinic from 7:45-9 p.m. Extra Innings DeMarini Softball Hitting Clinic will be held on Tuesdays Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23. Ages 7-12 will attend from 6:15-7:30 p.m. with ages 13-17 from 7:45-9 p.m. During February Vacation week (Feb. 22-26), Easton will hold a New Hampshire Clinic for ages 7-14 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This clinic will provide tips with hitting, pitching and fielding. Participate in one or more of these clinics and receive a free gift from the manufacturer holding that clinic. BASKETBALL

25TH BOW TOURNEY: There are still limited openings for the 25th annual Bow Athletic Club Basketball Tournament to be held Feb. 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28. This is a Friday night, Saturday and Sunday format both weekends enjoyed by area teams year-after-year. There are still openings for 5th/6th grade boys teams and for 7th/8th grade girls teams.
