New Hampshire just couldn’t muster up enough offense on Saturday in a 42-12 loss to Vermont in the 73rd Annual NH-Vermont Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl in Castleton, VT.

Vermont led 28-0 at halftime and never looked back, getting its fourth straight win. In the first half Vermont QB Sam Bent threw for two scores and ran for another.

New Hampshire broke through on Kingswood’s Serafin Agramonte’s 3-yard TD.The Granite Staters only other score was Laconia’s Jacob Tyron’s halfback pass to to Agramonte.

But it wasn’t enough. New Hampshire still has an overwhelming lead in the series, 50-20-2.

Local players on New Hampshire were Harrison Joshi (Nashua North), Ray Karuru (Nashua South), Kobie Raisanen Andino (North), Eli Gutierrez (Milford) and Patrick Deely (Alvirne).
