2026 TELEGRAPH ALL-AREA SOFTBALL TEAM

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

MARISSA NELSON, P, MERRIMACK

Nelson went 12-3 in the circle, had 163 strikeouts, just 18 walks, and a dominant earned run average of 0.997. She also hit .367, and was tied for first on the team with 22 RBIs. One of Division I’s best players, a First Team All-Stater.
