Last week they were Division I champions. Saturday they became officially State Champions.

The 4×400 relay team of Sarah Frye, Allie Frye, Charlotte Wilson and Rosie Nevue captured the Meet of Champions yesterday at Oyster River High School in Durham. The foursome came in with a time of 3:58.28.

Also, in the boys meet, Nashua South’s Preston Bois captured the pole vault at 14-8 and Ethan Fischer won the 3200 in 9:11.35.

GIRLS MEET

Nashua North’s Allie Frye captured the 300 hurdles in 44.45. Sarah Frye took second in the triple jump at 36-2.5.Abigail Azevedo was third in the high jump and 300 hurdles. Titan Rosie Neveu was second in the 800 in 2:16.10.

Alvirne’s Isabelle Haven-Tate was third in the shot put.

Hollis Brookline’s Grace Dow took second in the 100 hurdles in 14.99 and 300 hurdles in 46.37, the latter event quite the battle with North’s Allie Frye.

Milford’s Rylee Coates was fourth in the 400.

BOYS MEET

North’s Gavin Suchecki was second in the high jump in a tiebreaker with Merrimack Valley’s Owen Turner at 6-6.

Nashua South’s Sawyer Penny was third in the javelin. The Panther foursome of Isaiah Rodriguez, Pranav Dasari, Matthew Motherway and Ryan Jansen took second in the 4×800 relay in 8:14.12. South’s Kobe Perry was fourth in the 100 (11.20).

Bishop Guertin’s foursome of Ryan Connelly, Jack Mello, Cam Sydow and Jacob Parshay was third in the 4×100 relay in 43.29.

Alvirne’s Charles Barrett took second in the discus at 149-9. while Joey Marcotte was the same in the 110 hurdles (14.97)

Souhegan’s John Katsel was fourth in the long jump.
