The tournament season can be fun, but it’s also a mixed bag as it also means the end.

And that’s what Thursday was for the Nashua High School South girls and Souhegan boys lacrosse teams.

Meanwhile, the Campbell boys live to play another day. Here’s a look:

GIRLS LACROSSE

DIVISION I QUARTERFINALS

NO. 4 EXETER 18, NO. 5 NASHUA SOUTH 6

The Panthers got all six of their goals by sophomore Carly Benzekri while Emma Herlihy made seven saves in goal as the Panthers otherwise fine season ends at 11-7.

Also playing well for the visiting Panthers in their finale were Maddie Langer and Nitzann Alkalay.

BOYS LACROSSE

DIVISION II PRELIMS

NO. 7 KINGSWOOD 15, NO. 10 SOUHEGAN 5

Mason Mobley scored two goals while Garrett Powers (goal), Reid Kimball (goal, assist) and Nate Hill (goal) also scored for the Sabers (5-12).

Sean Reardon had seven saves for the Sabers in the hard-fought, physical game. Collin Pelletier and Keller Pemcock got four goals apiece for Kingswood (9-6).

DIVISION III PRELIMS

NO. 8 CAMPBELL 10, NO. 9 GILFORD 8

Cougars (8-8) are still in the conversation as they advance to the quarterfinals to face top seed, unbeaten Coe-Brown on Saturday.

Campbell lost to the Bears back on May 20, but in a close 8-6 game.
