It was a manic Monday in local high school sports, as most area teams were in action as we’re in the home stretch. This is the final week for regular season tennis, and all the other sports have just this week and next to stake their tourney claims.

Here’s your Monday results:

BASEBALL

NASHUA SOUTH 10, TIMBERLANE 0

Max Demers allowed one hit and struck out seven in five innings to help the Panthers (6-7) to a shutout win. Jayden Delanoy recorded two hits and three RBIs, Owen Varley tallied a hit, two runs and a RBI and Garret Schmidt had two hits. South hosts Bedford on Tuesday.

HOLLIS BROOKLINE 8, MILFORD 2

Ian Sinclair struck out 11 batters and surrendered four hits and two runs over six innings to lead the Cavs (12-1) past the Spartans (2-9). Matt Bergin (two RBIs), Quin Imbrogno (two RBIs) and Connor Gryniewicz each tallied three hits. Keenan Myers added two RBIs and recorded his 50th career varsity hit. HB stole five bases on the day. Marek Luba took the loss allowing six runs on 11 hits and striking out three in four innings. HB hosts Sanborn on Wednesday and Milford hosts Laconia on Tuesday.

ALVIRNE 8, LONDONDERRY 3

The Broncos (3-11) picked up their biggest win of the year by taking down the Lancers on the road. Brody Buja grabbed the win allowing seven hits and three runs (two earned) while striking out five in seven innings. Pacing the offense were Matt Bebris (two hits, run), Memphis Beach (hit, run, two RBIs), Jameson Krueger (hit, RBI), Logan Orr (hit, run, RBI), Brady Mitchell (two hits, RBI), Casey Benning (two hits, run, RBI), Gavin Baviello (hit, run), Alex Drown (run) and PJ Millette (two hits, two runs, RBI). Alvirne hosts Manchester Central on Wednesday.

CAMPBELL 3, PROSPECT MOUNTAIN 1

Brady Marcotte hit a walk-off two-run home run to left field in the bottom of the eighth to secure the Cougars (9-2) win. Brody Pinciaro contributed three hits and a RBI and Michael Grace added two hits. Grace struck out six over four and one-third innings. Jack Curtis earned the win in relief with three and two-thirds scoreless innings and four strikeouts. Campbell visits Monadnock on Wednesday.

SOFTBALL

KEENE 23, NASHUA NORTH 21

The Titans (0-14) fall short in an offensive battle against the Blackbirds. Neha Lingadal gave up 21 hits and 23 runs (16 earned) in seven innings while striking out five. Lingadal played well at the plate gathering two hits and five RBIs. Elin Maffee had two hits and Maycie Hudson collected two hits and stole three bases.

North, which has scored the most runs (44) for the program since 2023, visits Portsmouth on Wednesday.

TIMBERLANE 11, NASHUA SOUTH 2

The Panthers drop to 4-9 after a tough loss to the Owls. Cate Marvin took the loss surrendering 11 runs (nine earned) on 14 hits, while striking out eight in seven innings. Cara Leblond led the way with a home run and two RBIs. Lily Schulte, Maliyah Richer-Valentin and Brooke Berger each had one hit on the day. South visits Bedford on Tuesday.

MILFORD 16, HOLLIS BROOKLINE 4

The Spartans (4-7) dominate the Cavs (0-10) and keep them winless on the season. Haley Harrington hit a triple and drove in four runs, Alivia Mazzeo knocked in two runs on three hits and Ashley French added two hits and two RBIs. Mazzeo gave up five hits and struck out seven in the win. Milford hosts Laconia on Tuesday and HB hosts Sanborn on Wednesday.

MERRIMACK 2, WINDHAM 0

Marissa Nelson struck out 13 batters and allowed three hits and led the Tomahawks (11-3) to a win in a pitchers duel. Nelson would go on to add a hit and a RBI. Allie Wyand picked up a hit and Bayleigh Robichaud added a RBI. Merrimack hosts Nashua South on Wednesday.

BOYS LACROSSE

BEDFORD 13, MERRIMACK 1

Mason Tremblay collected 20 saves and Shea Scott scored a goal in the Tomahawks (8-5) loss to the Bulldogs. Merrrimack visits Salem on Wednesday.

WINNACUNNET 19, HOLLIS BROOKLINE 1

Rome Raisanen scored the lone goal for the Cavs (4-9) on an assist from Oliver Spencer. HB visits Goffstown on Wednesday.

MILFORD 18, STEVENS 3

The Spartans (3-9) offense exploded to end their five game losing streak. Leading the offense were Dylan MacLeod (four goals), Bentley Bowers (four goals, assist), Braeden Orlen (two goals), Aiden Hartley (two goals), Chirs Bozza (two goals), Jamie Noble (goal), Stephen Abair (goal), Tiegen Barb (goal) and Josh Clark (goal). Rocco Bartling and Brennan Cassidy had six saves apiece. Milford hosts Laconia on Tuesday.

SOUHEGAN 16, SPAULDING 4

The Sabers (3-8) end their six game losing drought on Monday afternoon. Mason Mobley (three goals, assist), Nate Hill (three goals, assist) and Colin Yeaton (two goal, two assists) paced the offense with four points apiece. Judd Harris scored two goals and Micah Dribble added a goal and an assist. Sean Reardon made four saves. Souhegan visits Oyster River on Wednesday.

GIRLS LACROSSE

LONDONDERRY 15, NASHUA SOUTH 5

The Panthers drop to 9-5 after a loss to the Lancers. Carly Benzreki tallied four goals and Gemma Williams added the other. Emma Herlihy made four saves in net. South visits Exeter on Wednesday.

SOUHEGAN 17, WINDHAM 4

Libby Kennedy (six goals, two assists) and Izzy Stevenson (five goals, two assists) led the Sabers (10-1) with eight and seven points respectively. Emmie Curran (two goals), Averie Curran (goal, assist), Lanai Hickman (goal, three assists) and Abbey Gray (two goals) contributed in the win. Souhegan hosts Andover (MA) on Wednesday.

BOYS TENNIS

ALVIRNE 5, COE-BROWN 4

The Broncos season-long drought is over as they picked up their first win(1-11), thanks to doubles wins by Sam Herganhan/Aiden Emery (8-0) and a thriller (9-8, 8-6 tiebreaker) by Owen Nagle Dimitri Askis.

Askis (8-6), Emery (8-1) and Herganhan (8-1) got singles wins.

The Broncos are playing today vs. Oyster River.

NASHUA NORTH 6, MANCHESTER CENTRAL 3

The Titans took five of six singles to get the win to stop a six-match skid, with Connor McInerney continuing his winning ways (8-1) and Aadhavan Veerendra (8-1), Ben Husson (8-2), Rishabh Murthy (8-1) and Connor Ducey (8-0) following suit. Husson/Micah Chinni (8-2) won in doubles.

North is at Keene today.

BISHOP GUERTIN 7, CONCORD 2

The Cards took five of six singles to clinch before doubles, with wins down the ladder by Jack Kostansek (8-3), Evan Deyak (8-3), Jonny Perrott (8-3), Jaxon Deyak (8-4) and Maxx Lizzotte (8-4) all winning.

Deyak/Perrott (8-1) and Lizotte/Stenruck (8-5) posted doubles wins.

Now 7-5, BG hosts Pinkerton on Wednesday.

HOLLIS BROOKLINE 8, BOW 1

The Cavs took five of six singles to get the win, with Arjun Inakollu (8-3), , John Torpey (8-6), Sam Pistor (8-3), Greyson McSeveney (8-0) and Eli Mazzola (8-0) all coming out on top.

Inakollu/Sam Anthony (8-2), Torpey/Pistor (8-4) and McSeveney/Mazzola (8-4) won in doubles as well.

Now 10-2, HB is at Merrimack today.

MILFORD 6, SOUHEGAN 3

The Sabers came out on the short end vs. their rivals, with wins only by Brian Goddard (8-4) and Patrick Bryson (8-3) and Bryson/Brock Keene in doubles.

GIRLS TENNIS

DOVER 9, NASHUA SOUTH 0

The Panthers had a tough time on the seacoast, the closest matches being 8-3 singles defeats suffered by Piya Chokshi at No. 1 and Bhavani Lakshminarayanan at No. 6.

Now 4-6, South hosts Windham today as the Panthers have matches every day this week.

NASHUA NORTY 6, MANCHESTER CENTRAL 3

The Titans got singles wins by Leena Srinivas, Mariana Cajigas, Aleena Reth and Addie Bueno, plus doubles wins by Srinivas/Reth (8-6) and Louise Lorillard Bueno (9-8, 7-5) to improve to 4-6. North hosts Exeter on Wednesday.

SOUHEGAN 8, MILFORD 1

The Sabers pitched a singles shutout in their win, with Callie Perrin, Ori Dart Sophia Yates, Emma Perrin, Mari Dart and Elli Brower all winning 8-0.

Mariella Dart/Elli Brower (8-1) and Lili Helfand/Hana Nagai (8-2) picked up doubles wins. Milford’s tandem of Agnes Aeller/Cammy Sayward won at No. 3 doubles 8-4.

BOW 6, HOLLIS BROOKLINE 3

The Cavs wrapped up their regular season at 9-5, getting singles wins by Anna Heiplik at No. 1 (8-1) ad Jade Lacasse at No. 6 (8-4). Heiplik and Max Walsh won in doubles (8-1).

HB will await the tourney pairings for next week.
