South’s Bois, North’s Frye shine at annual North Invitational

What seemed like the entire world of New Hampshire High School track descended on Nashua High School North on Saturday for the annual North Invitational Track Meet.

While team scores weren’t posted, there were some great individual victorious performances, and here are some highlights. For complete results, go to lancertiming.com:

BOYS MEET

Nashua South’s Preston Bois won the pole vault at 13-6 and the triple jump at 44-10.

Panther Sawyer Penny took the javelin with a throw of 165-7.

Alvirne’s Charles Barrett was also a double winner as he took the shot put at 47-1.5 and the discus at 148-10.

Milford’s Ethan Morin won the high jup t 6-2

Souhegan’s BrodySmith won the 100 dash at 11.17, ahead of North’s Kobe Perry (11.31). Perry was second in the 200.

Nashua South’s Isaiah Rodriguez finished fourth in the 800, but his time of 1:59.85 was a school record.

GIRLS MEET

Nashua South’s Emma Millette captured the pole vault at 9-6. Panther Camrin Ayi was second in the 100; South was second in the 4×100 relay.

Nashua North’s Allie Dandeneau won the long jump at 15-10 and Titan Allie Frye took the 300 hurdles in 47.45 seconds, just ahead of teammate Charlotte Wilson (47.47) and Frye was second in the 200. North’s Rosalie Neveu won the 800 in 2:18.65.

Nashua North’s 4×400 relay team of Sarah and Allie Frye, Charlotte Wilson and Neveu won in 4:05.84, just ahead of South’s crew of Camrin Ayi, Sarah Witta, Lyla Ayi, Millette and Auden King.
