Hollis Brookline captures NHIAA Division II boys hoop title

DURHAM — The No.1, unbeaten Hollis Brookline High School boys basketball game captured the NHIAA Division II title on Sunday afternoon, 42-37 over No. 2 Pelham at the University of New Hampshire’s Lundholm Gym.

The 21-0 Cavs trailed 35-34 with 5:10 left and outscored Pelham 8-2 down the stretch. They were led by Alton Willuams’ 14 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks. Renzo Bergskaug added 13 points while Pelham (16-5) was led by Brady O’Connor with 11 points.

It’s HB’s first boys hoop title since 2018.
