HS Holiday Tourney Roundup: Wins for Saber, HB girls hoop, BG hockey

It’s been a pretty good holiday tournament season for local teams, with more success on Saturday. Here’s a look:
GIRLS BASKETBALL
MIKE LEE HOLIDAY BASH
SOUHEGAN 63, RAYMOND 45
The Sabers advanced in the Mike Lee Holiday Bash as they got off to a 22-14 lead and coasted the rest of the way.
Nayaa Dineshkumar led the way with 16 points and 15 rebounds while Brynn Siska (15 points) and Ella Duclos (nine points) also contributed. They’ll play Coe-Brown today at 2:15 p.m.
MANCHESTER TOURNEY
HOLLIS BROOKLINE 57, MANCHESTER MEMORIAL 38
The Cavs captured a win in the Manchester Central-West Christmas Tournament, thanks to 20 points from Ana O’Donnell and 12 from Kendall Dunn.
HB will take on Fall Mountain today at 5:30 p.m. at Manchester West.
BOYS BASKETBALL
QUEEN CITY TOURNEY
ALVIRNE 78, SANBORN 66
The Broncos got 32 points from Garrett Hall and 18 from Luke Norse at Manchester Memorial.
The Broncos play either Exeter or Bedford today at 2:30 at Memorial.

BISHOP GUERTIN 3, LONDONDERRY 1
The Cards continue to win, now 4-0 overall, as Jordan O’Hearn’s goal and assist, plus goals by Tyler Tesak and Anthony Dobrutchi.
Hugh Roark and Gavin Santos also had assists. The Cards wrap up the three-day round-robin event with a game vs. Salem today at 3:40 p.m. at the Salem Icenter.
BOYS TRACK
PANTHERS SHINE AT BOSTON CHALLENGE
Nashua South enjoyed some individual success at the Boston Holiday Challenge, as school records were set by Preston Bois in the indoor pole vault (13-6) and Ryan Jansen in the 200 meter dash. Bois took first place in the pole vault, Jansen was seventh in the dash.
South’s 4×800 relay team of Matt Motherway, Pranav Dasani, Isiah Rodriguez and Siram Vanga took second.
South’s 4×400 team of Motherway, Rodriguez, Dasani and Andrew Samos took eighth.

CAMPBELL’S BAKER SHINES
The Cougars’ Sam Baker took home a third place finish in the Pentucket Holiday Tournament.
