WEST WONDERS: Locals head West Conference football All-Stars

NASHUA – Several locals are on the 2025 West Conference Football High School All-Star team, released on Thursday.

While Bedford QB Bennett Matthews was named the conference Player of the Year, Nashua South QB Cody Jackon was the First Team Quarterback. Eight locals were on the First Team Offense, as besides Jackson there were Nashua South offensive linemen Kevin Hamel and Trevor Stevens and Bishop Guertin’s Bishop Kearns. South’s Sam Levine was one of the running backs, while South’s Justin Fish and BG’s Rocco Roy were receivers.

Defensively, the area had 11 on the First Team squad: DL Aaron Chmielecki, North DL Delgado de Jesus, South DL Ray Karuru, North linebacker Jack Krulikowski, South linebacker Bruno Goncalves, Bishop Guertin linebacker Jonah Feliciano, and five local defensive backs: North’s Jedwin Lluveres, Merrimack’s Shea Egan, BG’s Sam Fayad, and South’s Josh Tripp and Colvin Levesque.

Here are the local offensive and defensive Honorable Mentions by team:

Bishop Guertin – Will Adams, RB; Nate Bowen, QB; Logan Curran, RB; Vincent Nalen, OL; Drew Redfern, DB; Hudson Schmitt, LB.

Merrimack – Kaio Allgayer, OL; Zach Retey, TE; Shea Scott, RB; George Fitzgerald, LB.

Nashua South – Preston Bois, K; Jason Vasquez, OL; Cole Patino, LB; Ted Smiley, LB, Kayden Doubleday DL.

Nashua North – Josh Sullivan, WR; Brady O’Connor, QB; Dylan Noble DB; Kobie Raisanen-Andino, DL.
