It’s Final Exam Night.

Yes, while the big game for Nashua soccer fans is Saturday night between Nashua South and Bishop Guertin for the Division I boys soccer title, a couple of other local teams are looking to wear crowns as well as part of a Division II finals doubleheader tonight at Exeter’s Bill Ball Stadium.

First, No. 1, 17-0-1 Hollis Brookline looks to win its third straight girls soccer title in a rematch of last year’s title game vs. No. 3, 12-3-3 Bow at 5 p.m. Then at 7:15 p.m., No. 2 Campbell (15-2-1) will battle No. 5 ConVal (10-4-4 for the boys Division II crown.

HB, which has an unbeaten streak of 56 games (55-0-1) beat Bow in their regular season meeting, 3-0 in Hollis back on Oct. 10. The two programs have a great rivalry and healthy respect for each other, as they’ve met in the three of the previous four tournaments. Bow beat HB in OT in the semis back in 2021; the Cavs got revenge in penalty kicks in the 2023 semifinals, and last year won a tough squeaker 1-0, in the championship game.

The Campbell boys won the Division III title two years ago and then moved into Division II last year and proved immediately it belonged, losing to Milford 5-4 in regulation in a classic championship game won in the final minutes by the Spartans.

And now the Cougars are back, hoping to get the title they came oh, so close to getting a year ago. Campbell beat Hollis Brookline in the sixth round of penalty kicks in the semis on Monday while ConVal upset Oyster River in the other semi.

The Cougars beat ConVal a couple of weeks ago, 2-1 in Litchfield. CV won Division II titles in 2018-19.
